I’m here to support you. And this can be however you want that to be.
It all actually starts with my lovely Mum. Allow me to introduce Pauline Henshaw. Fiercely independent, strong and kind.
It was only her and I growing up, and our little dog called Tess.
We fought and bickered as those closest to each other do, but she was my absolute rock.
One day in 2012, I was working away in Hamburg when I received a call from my Aunt to tell me that my Mum had died.
Completely unexpectedly.
Totally out of the blue.
In that moment, my entire life was turned upside down and changed forever.
It turns out that Mum had suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, the coroner said that it would have been instantaneous. Mum would have had no idea.
The problem was that everybody else who loved her dearly was left behind.
And we all (bloody) knew.
The trauma of such a sudden and tremendous loss has stayed with me for a long time. Over the years I have dealt with my own grief as it ebbs and flow.
And following this journey of death, loss and love, I have been led here to you, today.
.
Nowadays, I live in South Manchester, Stockport in fact (not allowed to say Cheshire any more) and I’m a Mum myself to two beautiful little girls. Today, unlike all those years ago, I fully realise the fragility and beauty of life. And I am genuinely thankfully for every day that goes by.
For me to be able to help others get through even minutes, of the darkest days of their lives, fills me with purpose and satisfaction.
Let me help you, lean on me. I’m here for you.
I am gentle yet straight talking. Together, we can create a service that will allow your person to shine in both life and in death.
And if you are struggling with the loss or any version of anticipated loss, let’s work through what’s happening with the use of EFT.
My working experience has involved hospitality operations management, event management and public speaking.
To bring me here to you today, I have qualified with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy. I am a member of the Good Funeral Guild who are a collective of like-minded people working to change funerals for the better.
And I am an accredited practitioner with the EFT and Mindfulness Centre.
